Thomas I. Obenchain – July 2009

Well, this entire site is about me, I guess. But if you want a very brief version to get you started, you’ve come to the right page.

My name is Thomas Isaacson Obenchain. I was born on May 1, 1928 in Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois. I spent most of my childhood, however, in Boise, Idaho.

After marrying Esther Spencer in 1950, I began my nomadic years living and working in many parts of the United States, including but not limited to Colorado, Mississippi, Texas, Wyoming, Montana, and Louisiana. During the time I served four years in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and then worked as an engineer for 31 years for Schlumberger, an oil well services company.

After Esther’s passing in 1990, I moved to Georgia and married my wife Lethia Arrowood. I have lived now for nearly 20 years in the Atlanta area.

My life has been richly blessed and for that, I thank God and I recognize his hand in my life.
